It is located in the heart of the Jordanian capital Amman and in a business and diplomatic zone in Shmeisani area (green zone), its is considered as one of the largest 5 star hotels In the capital Amman with its twelve floors high, 433 rooms divided into luxurious rooms and suites , royal and presidential suites and more than 5 various luxurious restaurants (Lebanese, Chinese, Japanese, Italian).

Development and Renovation
In 2018 Iskan company for touristic and hotel investments have signed an agreement with Accor group international to operate the hotel under the name of its international luxury brand (Sofitel) hotel within modern and international standards in 2023
lskan Company for Touristic & Hotel Investments Ltd. have decided to undertake the main package for renovation of Le Grand Amman Hotel, Jordan (formerly Le Méridien Amman hotel), therefore, a tender will be floated soon to solicit offers from competent contractors.
Local Contractors classified by GTD as Grade (1) in the field of building construction and Grade (1) in the field of Electro-Mechanical who are interested in submitting proposals are invited to provide proof of their qualifications and experience for this type of works combined with their letter of intent and send them to the following address:
